💧 5.5 Litres per Minute, Instead of 14
3 Jets • Removable Flow Limiter • Anti-Limescale Nozzles • Compact Size
A standard shower head delivers between 12 and 15 litres per minute. Over a ten-minute shower, that adds up to as much as 150 litres — much of it hot water, in other words energy.
This shower head brings it down to 5.5 litres per minute.
📊 The Figures, Without Exaggeration
| Setting | Flow Rate | Saving vs 14 L/min |
|---|---|---|
| With flow limiter (default) | 5.5 L/min | nearly 60% |
| Flow limiter removed | 7.5 L/min | around 46% |
The flow limiter simply pulls out. Handy if your water pressure is on the low side — an old boiler, a top-floor flat, ageing pipework. We would rather give you both figures than just the flattering one.
🚿 Why the Pressure Doesn't Drop
The flow is reduced, not the feeling. The nozzles speed up the stream of water and split it up: you get less water, but delivered faster.
That is what sets a water-saving shower head apart from a tap that's simply half closed.
🌊 Three Jets, One Button
Rain — the wide everyday spray, soft and enveloping.
Massage — concentrated, for the neck and shoulders after a long day on your feet.
Mixed — both together.
Switch with a single press, without letting go of the shower head.
🛡️ The Silicone Nozzles
This is the detail that decides how long it lasts. On an ordinary shower head, limescale blocks the holes one by one: the spray goes crooked, then weakens, and after a year you replace the shower head.
Silicone nozzles flex under your finger. A quick rub with your hand is enough to loosen the build-up. In hard water, that's the difference between a shower head you keep and one you throw away.
🔧 Installation
Standard 1/2" connector, compatible with virtually all French shower hoses. Unscrew the old shower head by hand, screw on the new one. Three minutes, no tools, no plumber.
A washer is built in. If your hose already leaks at the connections, replace it at the same time: a new shower head on a worn-out hose only solves half the problem — that's what the kit with stainless steel hose is for.
💶 The Maths for a Household
A family of four each taking a daily eight-minute shower uses around 160,000 litres a year with a 14 L/min shower head. At 5.5 L/min, that volume drops below 65,000 litres.
The saving is on water, but above all on heating it — usually the bigger of the two items on a bill.
💡 Good to know before you buy. If your incoming water pressure is already low, remove the flow limiter when you install it: at 5.5 L/min on a weak supply, comfort would suffer.
And if your water is very hard, rub the nozzles with your hand once a week. Thirty seconds that keep limescale at bay.
📏 Compact Size
Smaller than a standard shower head, it suits narrow showers as well as motorhome and boat shower cubicles, where space matters as much as flow rate.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Will I notice the difference in the shower?
In pressure, very little — that's the whole point of the accelerating nozzles. In volume, yes: rinsing very long hair takes a little longer, hence the mixed mode.
Can I switch it back to 7.5 L/min later?
Yes, the flow limiter can be removed and refitted whenever you like.
Is it suitable for an instantaneous water heater?
Some models need a minimum flow rate to fire up. If in doubt, install it without the flow limiter.
