This brush is made in Bavaria by a workshop founded in 1848 and run by the same family for five generations. We work directly with the workshop, with no middleman.
🌳 An Oiled Beech Handle
✓ FSC-certified European beech, turned and polished in the workshop
✓ Finished with linseed oil, natural and water-resistant
✓ Smooth to the touch, never rough and leaves no taste
🪥 Natural Bristles, No Nylon
✓ Soft (badger hair): fine and gentle, ideal for sensitive gums and children
✓ Medium (pig bristle, also called boar bristle): for slightly firmer brushing
✓ Quick tip: hold the bristles under lukewarm water for a few seconds to keep them firm, a little longer to soften them.
♻️ A Second Life After the Bathroom
After about 3 months of brushing, it still has plenty to give:
✓ Small cleaning brush for grout, taps, jewellery or shoe soles
✓ Garden label: write the name of your seedlings on the handle and push it into the pot
✓ And finally, into the compost: wood and natural bristles break down, with no plastic residue
💡 Our Care Tips
✓ Rinse the brush with clean water after each use
✓ Shake it to remove excess water
✓ Let it dry head up, in the open air (avoid closed cases and the bottom of a damp cup)
✓ Replace it roughly every 3 months
