🌱 The Cotton Bud, Without the Plastic
Wooden Stem • Compostable • Box of 100 • Compliant with 2020 Law
Plastic-stemmed cotton buds have been banned from sale in France since 1 January 2020. They were among the ten most common items of litter found on European beaches. A wooden stem solves the problem without changing a thing about how you use them.
♻️ They Compost Naturally
✓ Wooden stem and cotton: the whole thing goes in the compost or the food waste bin
✓ Unlike a toothbrush, there's nothing to separate before throwing them away
✨ For All Your Everyday Uses
Cotton buds are still very handy for:
✓ Cleaning the outer ear, on the surface
✓ Touching up make-up
✓ Applying a product to a small area
✓ Cleaning a delicate object
✓ Dusting a device
⚠️ One use to avoid. We don't recommend pushing them into the ear canal — no cotton bud should be. Their compact shape pushes earwax towards the eardrum rather than removing it, which encourages blockages. For inside the ear, the Oriculi is designed to scrape and draw wax outwards.
